Relief Loan
Launch CU Is Here for You!
In an effort to assist our members who may be in need of funds due to the impact of Hurricane Helene, Launch is offering a Hurricane Relief Loan for members who qualify. Here are the details for those who wish to apply for the loan:
- Interest rate of 7.99% APR*
- Maximum term 36 months
- Maximum loan amount of $5,000
- 60 days deferred payments. Interest will begin to accrue at the time of loan closing.
- Recovery Loan cannot be used to refinance or consolidate existing loans
- Launch CU membership is required. Must have been a member as of September 25, 2024.
- No existing delinquent loans with Launch CU
- One Hurricane Recovery Loan per household. If the member still has a balance from any previous HRL, they can apply for a new HRL for Hurricane Helene and combine it with the balance owed; however, the total cannot exceed $5,000.
- Deadline to apply for the Hurricane Relief Loan is October 31, 2024

*APR = Annual Percentage Rate. Loans subject to credit approval. Payment and term affected by amount financed. Minimum loan amount $500; maximum amount $5,000. (Payment example: monthly payments on a loan with a term of 12 months at 7.99% APR would be approximately $86.98 per $1,000 borrowed.) New money only; no internal refinances. Savings account required for loan; must be opened on or prior to September 25, 2024. Only a $5 minimum deposit is required to open an account and become a Launch CU member. You can open an account if you live, work, worship, or attend school in the counties that we serve. New accounts are subject to account opening requirement and approval.
